Who says ordinary Singaporeans don't care about politics..

My parents are very concerned about politics.. especially my father.. when there is any big news about any country.. he will rush back home to watch the news.. he is really enthu.. don't know why he is so enthu.. other countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, US.. he also so concerned.. like the news on Thaksin.. he will always watch de.. Thaksin really so good meh.. don't know..

then last week.. report on the Mas Selamat came out.. and my parents are quite shocked by it.. how can such a dangerous man be handled so lightly.. is the authority being over confident with their security or they are so naive to think a dangerous man can become tamed and good and will not dare to escape.. and why the detention centre is so not anti-prison break at all.. is it becos of human rights that they don't want to keep the prisoners like animals and so there are not many fences and grilles.. but dangerous animals need to be kept under very close supervision and movements have to be restricted.. so are dangerous humans yah.. being friendly to them doesn't mean that they will be friendly to us.. they will only think we are good to bully..

Is our government using the citizens' money in the right areas? Don't tell me we can't afford fences and grilles? Just afraid that our country on the surface seems very equipped to face any attacks and disasters.. but not really so inside.. everything just to show off only.. even a man they cannot handle properly.. how to handle larger scale terrorism.. so worrying..

lack of experience maybe a reason bah.. I think the government really get a shock from the incident.. and the internal security team finally woke up from their comfortable offices.. and they have stopped slacking.. I don't think they can slack anymore until they found the man.. which needs how many years?

actually my parents are not really happy that nothing happens to the top positions at all.. their punishment is only to find the man.. oic.. PM has been quite lenient to his men and gave them another chance.. he really believes in them.. okay.. is he trying to show that he treasures his men? so that any ppl who are interested in joining his team will not afraid of making mistakes and learn from them.. maybe joining the civil service is not a bad thing.. but this only applies to the high positions.. pity those guards who directly take charged of Mas Selamat and follow instructions from those in the high positions.. are they given another chance? no.. I don't think so.. becos somebody still have to take up the responsibility and be punished.. I think that's the reality..

My first time and last time studying in school..

Never have like studying in sch.. especially in the lib.. hate the cold and silent in lib.. and it makes you sleepy.. but I still end up studying in the lib this sem.. my first and only time studying in sch during the reading week.. As I never try studying in sch.. why don't try it now.. if not.. no chance le.. haha.. the reason quite silly right.. anyway.. there is renovation somewhere near my house.. and is so noisy with all the drilling and knocking..

actually studying in sch is not so bad.. first two days in club room.. quite comfortable with the aircon and can sit in any way you like.. haha.. then nobody open club room on wed so I have to move to lib lor.. becos there's aircon there.. haha.. sat with weiming, moses they all.. everybody is busy studying and never talk much lah.. except for some munching of food.. haha.. studying can cause ppl to lose appetite.. can also cause you to grow fat.. haha.. eating tibits non-stop.. haha.. me also bought some raisins and biscuits to eat.. think the coldness makes you hungry easily.. haha..

with my earpiece and music.. I am not really distracted by ppl lah.. except by my com.. haha.. seeing so many ppl studying so hard.. really motivated me to study hard too.. but there are some sian ppl who will walk around and disturb others.. haha.. after studying for so long.. need some entertainment bah..

have uploaded Miley Cyrus' song "Let's Dance" from her album "Hannah Montana 2 - Meet Miley Cyrus".. she's only 16 but she doesn't sound like her age at all.. she got a song that is currently on the chart "See You Again".. also a nice song..

It's over..

it's over for me.. I am screwed up.. the first 2 mechanism questions I am already stuck.. not prepared at all.. even my sups and mentor don't even know how to answer.. inorganic don't really care about mechanisms.. and the panel don't even has an inorganic prof there.. is it really fair? I prepared so much on the luminescence but it is never asked.. I am poor in organic.. the gal after me asked why are they so happy.. laugh so loudly.. they laughed at me lor.. becos I am not sure.. I anyhow answer and answer wrongly.. I feel so sad lor.. " You have forgotten what I have taught you in year 3, the stuff on carbene." " How did you do for this module yah? haha.. you are not required to answer this.." So demoralising.. I just hope I can get at least a B+.. if not.. then second lower bah.. I am prepared.. No more crying.. I have cried enough to forget about it.. and get over it..

Went to celebrate the end with jas and yihui.. ate at Cafe Cartel.. the soft and tender pork chop and shared the 4 scoop strawberry ice cream with waffles and the half price blueberry cheesecake.. Very nice and delicious.. and very full.. we even ate the cheese fries and free flow bread.. haha..

Never get to watch forbidden kingdom with them.. so watched with my mum yesterday.. I have the birthday treat from GV so it's one for one.. $10 for 2 tix.. hee.. so cheap right.. this movie is really very interesting, funny and weird too.. imagine in the ancient Chinese tale of monkey god.. the Chinese are speaking English? Even the Jade Emperor also speak English? haha.. really very funny lor.. but I must say the storyline is really new and special.. not an ordinary tale.. Who heard of the Jade Warlord being a big bad guy? and the Chinese actor, Jackie Chan and actresses Liu Yifei and Li Bing Bing speaks really good English.. Even better than Zhang Ziyi.. oops.. hee.. Jet Li still needs to brush up a bit.. haha.. he got the least script lines.. haha..

It also quite special that in a hollywood movie, this has the most numbers of chinese actors and also speaking a mixture of English and Mandarin.. haha.. The young American actor, Michael Angarano, acted as Jason Tripitikas.. Does Tripitikas sounds familiar? haha.. This movie is full of kungfu.. even Tripitikas also has to fight.. seen too much of jet li and jackie chan fighting before.. so quite bored by it.. only the funny plot must it really interesting and don't forget the very very very beautiful liu yifei.. Li Bing Bing can't win this young gal with her extendable white hair.. haha..

I finally found my CJ7.. The stores finally sell CJ7 soft toys.. finally.. waited for quite some time.. I bought one which is its dead look.. haha.. but still very cute.. I love it.. so cute..

handed in my report two days ago on fri.. very last min.. and later I found that I have 2 typing mistakes.. which I feel are unforgivable but no choice.. handed in liao.. can't do anything.. just hope that the markers miss them by reading too fast.. haha.. hope so yah.. anyway.. have been very very tired.. still feeling very sleepy now.. but I must still do my work.. a test on tue.. the last presentation on fri.. must do well for that.. don't want to get a 1 again for that..

after handing in the report.. met my jc friends to sort of celebrate their birthday.. although it is so to celebrate my birthday which has passed last sat.. they are still the main stars lor.. guys are just guys.. they just like to boost their egos and boast about their achievements.. we just have to get used to that.. haha.. had a great night.. my first time to dempsey.. not to drink but to eat very ex ice cream and then to nico's house to drink the vodka.. that doesn't taste very nice.. haha.. but so many get drank.. haha.. me not very drank.. just felt my head heavy.. no vomiting.. nico says I should try to get very drank once.. then you will not want to get drank anymore.. but I don't want to be a "merlion".. not even once.. becos very unglam de.. haha.. anyway.. I still get a quite bad hangover the next morning.. headache, fast heartbeat and no appetite for breakfast.. the worst one that I experienced but hope I get nothing worser than this in the future..

I must also talk about my birthday.. the best birthday I have.. the best present I received all these year.. this present really touched my heart.. what precious about it is not the price.. but the thoughts and efforts that are put in.. thank you andy! I will talk about it more later when I have more time.. I must say this is a really good way to end my four years of study in NUS.. I will surely miss you guys.. I will..

Coffee Prince's soundtrack

this drama really have a nice soundtrack.. all their songs are soothing and enjoyable.. should listen to it if you have the chance.. although mostly are in korean which I don't understand.. just enjoy their melody bah.. but they also have put in some english lyrics.. haha..

really busy now.. should be busy bah.. my report is due in less than 2 weeks time.. but I am still collecting data.. so last minute.. but no choice.. my mentor say must try to include mah..

I have been sleeping very late and little.. even dozing off when typing my report.. haha..

had a busy weekend.. went to annual dinner on sat and TQ final on sun.. will update you all on them when I am more free bah..
