A trip to Loyang tua pek kong temple

this is the only temple in Singapore next to sea bah.. it is a very old temple.. but actually I not really sure how old is it lah.. but I know it's very old.. it is moving soon.. its new building is already built and ready soon..

becos that day that I go is tua pek gong's birthday if I'm not wrong.. so many many people went there to pray and no vehicle is allowed to go in.. and my parents and I have to walk a whole stretch of road in.. okay lah.. it's good going out as a whole family sometimes.. it's really hard to get sometime lor.. especially when I am the one who is most busy de.. sort of lah..

the long stretch of road.. that's my father in white.. he always walk faster than us de.. so don't ever go shopping with him.. will be rushing here and there.. hee..

my $2 joss stick and offerings.. the typical offerings to gods are a packet of tea represent a cup of tea.. a packet of biscuits and sweets as the snacks to go with the tea.. a pair of candles, joss sticks, paper money jin zi for the god.. and the gui ren zi which will be burnt with the paper money.. gui ren means people who will come and help us and protect us..

the view of sea from the temple.. is that indonesia in front of us?

the temple.. it is just the outside.. but the smoke from the joss sticks is everywhere.. imagine in the enclosed area in the temple.. the smoke is even more strong and I was even in tears when I was inside.. when the smoke got into my eyes..
