Happy lunar new year to everyone! Yeah! today is the first day of this important festival.. which I really like.. can get ang baos mah.. hee hee hee.. me happy but not my mum.. she has to give ang bao.. this is the day of the year that I have more "income".. but my xin nian not as happening as some people lor.. I just visit a temple at joo chiat with my parents in the morning then visit a relative's house.. then that's all.. that relative is my aunt.. my father's elder sister..




long time ago when my great grandmother was still around.. many many relatives will come to my house.. very happening.. but not for me.. my cousins are either too old or too young.. nobody my age.. got generation gap yah.. so don't really communicate with them.. not even card games or mahjong lah.. After my great grandmother passed away.. it's our turn to visit the other elderlys.. my grand aunties.. then after they also left us.. our family ties seem to be not so close already.. quite sad lor.. since my father is counted as the elder.. people should visit our house but the last few years don't see them leh.. hai~ now the family ties not so strong liao.. maybe one day our family will also need to "escape from new year".. go travelling lor..

actually new year other than the ang baos.. also not very fun for me lah.. like visiting my aunt's house.. once I sit down.. I am just like stuck to the sofa lor.. just eat the tibits and watch tv.. they have SCV.. so I got to watch one episode of "CSI: NY".. haha.. at least got something i like.. I saw a card that is pasted on the wall.. it is given to my aunt on her birthday by her grandson.. not bad leh.. he is only 2 plus.. then know how to write chinese and do colouring.. I am impressed and touched by the words inside.. in chinese "I love you. Happy birthday".. I sort of suspected that the card may not be purely done by him bah.. must be his parents got help.. because the words are written quite nicely.. my this small cousin is so cute lor.. always smile de.. but sometimes also throw temper by lying on the floor.. roll here and there.. haha..

tmr I will be going to Malaysia, visit my grandmother and relatives.. after so many years, I finally going during new year period.. becos got one week break mah.. talking about the break.. I not really happy lor.. 3 days of holidays wasted by putting it in the break lor.. okay lah.. also becos of this.. I get to go malaysia mah.. this time also no tests immediately after the holidays.. my father thinks that I don't like to go malaysia lor.. actually not lor.. he don't understand me enough.. I actaully long to go there lor.. can get to see some relatives whom I long time never see.. but becos of going to malaysia.. I may not get to watch "men tu" with my freshies lor.. cannot go to the outing that I initially organised.. at first quite sad lah.. nvm.. as long as they are happy.. I will feel happy.. anyway there is another gathering on thurs..
