A happening sunday..

sunday.. I did my first part-time job of the year.. pay is $50.. not bad lah.. I am called an events coordinator.. sound nice.. something new for me.. quite fun.. it is for a bank.. sort of helping to attract people into the branch so that the personal bankers got a chance to talk to them to intro them to the new plan for fixed deposit.. I am in charge of a simple game.. asking people to pick ang bao from a plant and open up.. there will be a free gift.. the free gifts not very attractive lah.. some plastic bottle, memo clip, towel.. not expensive stuff.. I will not be attracted to that but many other people seem to like that.. no wonder Singaporeans are kaisu and some are also quite greedy.. okay lah.. only a few of them.. some really want to know about the new plan lah.. to learn how to earn more money..

I was told to get there early.. but it is so early that the bankers and managers are not there yet.. I have to wait almost 1 hour for them lor.. who told me to reach early yah.. and during the work.. I am so busy with opening ang bao and hanging them that I have no time to eat lor.. when I have time.. it is 4 plus already.. no point to eat then lor.. I will be eating dinner soon liao.. no wonder the branch manager told me to go and eat in the morning.. he expected to be busy in the day.. I am so stupid lor.. and the whole time I am not clever to siam lor.. not like the experienced emcee.. who escaped a few times and came late.. now I know.. next time I will be clever.. the bank don't even have lunch time.. the bankers and managers work in shifts.. hai~ this is really a chance for exposure.. a chance to experience real working life..

actually it is quite interesting lah.. never know people will be loyal to a bank.. especially the elderly.. and the senior citizens are so fun de.. there find the game quite fun and laugh and feel happy about choosing their lucky hong bao.. haha.. they like those with pic of rice or the word "fu".. haha.. I also quite happy to help them lah.. I can also work in the service line de.. hee.. I can also smile okay..

that night.. there were also superstar final and the asean cup soccer final.. of course.. I watch superstar lah.. I support diya lor.. but she lost.. qute sad.. but nvm.. winning doesn't mean do well in the singing circle lor.. I really like her singing slow songs.. full of emotion and more feminine but darren seems so much confident.. but I think his singing really need brush up.. off key few times.. aiyah.. guy surely has more famale fans to vote for him lor and but his cd.. result quite expected one..

haha.. while I watch superstar.. I will hear loud cheering from some blocks then that is the signal for me to switch to soccer.. must be singapore goaled.. haha.. good to have neighbours who are soccer fan.. really proud of singapore winning overall.. but can they maintain their standard? I not really sure..
